Please contact Troy DeVries if you are interested in reserving the space at you're looking for a larger venue, consider our sister restaurant, Grand Rapids Brewing Co., which offers custom catering, a full bar and a larger private room for your group. The total spend can be reached with one or multiple tabs. Reserving the room requires a $300 minimum food and beverage spend Monday through Thursday and a $500 minimum food and beverage spend Friday through Sunday. Very conducive to appetizer style parties, not so much the sit-down-and-eat type events. The room is furnished like a living room with couches, love seats, arm chairs, coffee, & end tables. The loft holds seats 20 and will hold a max of 25 people. Q: Can I rent the Loft (our 2nd floor lounge) for a private event?Ī: Maybe. That's not a bad deal for the person who has to wait! You are welcome to send a member of your party in ahead of time to check in with the host stand then grab a beer while you wait (if there is a wait). Any questions or comments are welcome.īefore emailing us, though, here are some answers to frequently asked questions (FAQ):Ī: No, we do not take reservations for any size party. We went at about 6:00 on a Friday and had no wait for a table which I was very surprised by! There was a bit of a wait for outdoor seating, but I think that's pretty typical for any place downtown in the summer. We appreciate your feedback! Let us know how we are doing. Our waitress was super kind and helpful with assisting me in figuring out what kind of beer/cider I wanted (I'm not a beer connoisseur by any means) and was attentive without being overbearing. My friend got the grilled cheese which came with tomato soup and fries, and they loved it! It looked really appealing to me and I think it's going on my list to try for next time :) The flavor is amazing and it's definitely one of my favorite vegetarian entrees that I've had at a restaurant. This is the second time I got this for my meal and it was just as delicious as the first time! It's always cooked perfectly and is so filling. I love sweeter drinks and this was the perfect amount of sweet but not TOO sweet for me.įor my entree, I got the Quesadilla with Roasted Cauliflower (and no jalapeños). I haven't tried their cider before and I was pleasantly surprised. This time, I got the Strawberry Lemonade Cider and it was fantastic. The staff is always so kind and helpful, the food is always amazing, and the drinks are great. Every time I come here I leave MORE than satisfied. Hopcat has to be one of my all time favorite restaurants in Grand Rapids.
